Abstract
A camera that has an acquisition unit which acquires an identifier via a cradle apparatus connected to the camera, a comparison unit which compares the identifier acquired by the acquisition unit with an identifier stored in a memory, and a camera controller which controls access of the apparatus connected via the cradle apparatus based on comparison results by the comparison unit.
Claims6
A camera cradle system including a camera and a cradle apparatus, comprising:
- an acquisition unit which acquires an identifier via the cradle apparatus connected to the camera;
- a comparison unit which compares the identifier acquired by the acquisition unit with an identifier stored in a memory;
- a setting unit which sets an access level based on comparison results by the comparison unit;
- and
- a controller which controls processing in response to an access from an external apparatus connected via the cradle apparatus, based on the access level set by the setting unit,
- wherein the controller inhibits a pan/tilt operation based on the access level when the external apparatus requires the pan/tilt operation of the cradle apparatus.
3 more elements
A camera cradle system including a camera and a cradle apparatus, control method, comprising:
- a connecting step for connecting the cradle apparatus to the camera;
- an acquisition step for acquiring an identifier via the connected cradle apparatus;
- a comparison step for comparing the identifier acquired in the acquisition step with an identifier stored in a memory of the camera;
- a setting step for setting an access level based on comparison results in the comparison step;
- and
- a control step for controlling processing in response to an access from an external apparatus connected via the cradle apparatus, based on the access level set in the setting step,
- wherein the control step inhibits a pan/tilt operation based on the access level when the external apparatus requires the pan/tilt operation of the cradle apparatus.
