Method for locating intruder

A computer-readable medium, the computer readable medium containing computer code that, when executed by a system including a plurality of sensors distributed in a monitored area including a plurality of potential intruder locations, is operable to cause the system to perform steps comprising:

• receiving a plurality of measured signal strengths each associated with a sensor included in a plurality of sensors distributed in a monitored area that includes a plurality of potential intruder locations;
• computing an estimated intruder signal strength associated with each of a plurality of potential intruder locations;
• and
• selecting as an estimated intruder location, a first potential intruder location associated with an estimated intruder signal strength that is greater than or equal to an estimated intruder signal strength associated with another potential intruder location adjacent to the first potential intruder location.
