Abstract
The invention relates to a security system consisting of at least two security modules that are connected to a network and transmit data via the network. At least one of the security modules can be switched into an energy-saving mode by a first local event, an idle command generated by the first local event, or an idle command transmitted by another security module and into an operating mode by a second local event, a wake-up command generated by the second local event, or a wake-up command transmitted by another security module.

A security system, comprising at least two security modules connected to a network and transmitting data over the network, wherein at least one of the security modules can be switched into an energy-saving mode by a first local event or an idle command generated by the first local event or an idle command transmitted from another security module and then switched to an operating mode by a second local event or a wake-up command generated by the second local event or a wake-up command transmitted from another security module.
