Abstract
The invention relates to a process as well as a device for removal of exhaust gas (7) that contains oxidizable pollutants. The exhaust gas (7) that contains oxidizable pollutants is introduced at a suitable location (a) into a flue gas system (K) that corresponds to a process oven (D) and is mixed with hot, oxygen-containing flue gas that flows through the flue gas system, whereby the exhaust gas (7) that contains oxidizable pollutants is heated to a temperature of at least 600° C.
Claims9
A process for removal of exhaust gas (7) containing oxidizable pollutants, said process comprising:
- introducing an exhaust gas (7) that contains oxidizable pollutants is into a flue gas system (K) at a suitable location (a) that corresponds to a process oven (D) and is mixed with hot, oxygen-containing flue gas that flows through said flue gas system, whereby said exhaust gas (7) that contains oxidizable pollutants is heated to a temperature of at least 600° C.
An apparatus for removal of exhaust gas (7) containing oxidizable pollutants, comprising:
- a flue gas system (K) connected to a process oven (D), said flue gas system having a first inlet for introducing hot, oxygen-containing flue gas discharged from said process oven, and a second inlet at a suitable location (a) for introducing an exhaust gas (7) containing oxidizable pollutants, whereby said exhaust gas can mixed with said hot, oxygen-containing flue gas flowing through said flue gas system, and said exhaust gas (7) containing oxidizable pollutants can be heated to a temperature of at least 600° C.
A process comprising:
- introducing a mixture of natural gas and water vapor into a synthesis gas unit comprising a distributor, a collector, a plurality of catalyst-filled reactor pipes connected to said distributor and said collector, a process oven having a burner B and a radiation zone S for heating said plurality of catalyst-filled reactor pipes, and a flue gas system K, wherein said mixture of natural gas and water vapor is introduced into said distributor, flows through said reactor pipes wherein it the mixture is reacted to form a synthesis gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and is collected in said collector, and wherein fuel is burned with air in said burner B to produce a heated flue gas for heating said plurality of catalyst-filled reactor pipes in said radiation zone S, and said flue gas is discharged at a temperature above 1000° C. from said radiation zone S into said flue gas system K,
- delivering said synthesis gas to a cooler E2 wherein said synthesis gas is cooled to below the water dew point, thereby forming a gas fraction 4 containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen, and process condensate 5,
- delivering said process condensate 5 which contains dissolved nitrogen to a stripping column which functions as a degasser G that is designed as a stripping column,
- introducing low-pressure water vapor into said stripping column as a stripping gas, and removing from said stripping column an exhaust gas comprising gas components and water vapor stripped from the process condensate 5, and
- introducing the exhaust gas from the stripping column into said flue gas system downstream of the radiation zone S at a point whereby the exhaust gas is heated to a temperature of more than 600° C. not more than 1050° C.
