Method for Brake Pressure Distribution Between the Axles of a Vehicle

Abstract

A method is provided for brake pressure distribution between the axles of a vehicle with a pressure medium brake, which vehicle includes rotational speed sensors, which rotational speed sensors are assigned to wheels which can be braked and which rotational speed sensors serve as actual value sensors. The brake pressure distribution between axles is regulated as a function of a difference in wheel rotational speeds between axles or wheel slip values between axles at the axles, and the exceedance of a predefined limit value by the difference in the wheel rotational speed between axles or the wheel slip values between axles during a braking process serves for the regulation of the brake pressure distribution (differential slip regulation). On the basis of the dependency between at least the brake pressure (p) at the rear axle (HA) and the deceleration (z) of the vehicle after at least two preceding service braking operations, a critical deceleration value (Zabheb) is determined by interpolation or extrapolation, in which at least the brake pressure at the rear axle (HA) is less than a predefined brake pressure limit value.
