Display panels and methods and apparatus for driving the same

A system for normalizing a usage of an electronic light emitting display panel, the system comprising:

• a processor configured to calculate the usage of the electronic light emitting while a first video is being displayed on the electronic light emitting display panel;
• a switch configured to switch between displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel and displaying a conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel, the conditioning video being generated based on the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel for normalizing the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel;
• and
• a sensor configured to determine absence of an individual in vicinity of the electronic light emitting display panel, and to cause the switch to switch from displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel to displaying the conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel, in response to determining absence of the individual.

A method of normalizing a usage of an electronic light emitting display panel, the method comprising:

• calculating the usage of the electronic light emitting while a first video is being displayed on the electronic light emitting display panel;
• sensing absence of an individual in vicinity of the electronic light emitting display panel;
• and
• switching, in response to the sensing absence, from displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel to displaying a conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel, the conditioning video being generated based on the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel for normalizing the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel.

A system for normalizing a usage of an electronic light emitting display panel, the system comprising:

• a processor configured to calculate the usage of the electronic light emitting while a first video is being displayed on the electronic light emitting display panel;
• a switch configured to switch between displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel and displaying a conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel, the conditioning video being generated based on the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel for normalizing the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel;
• and
• a sensor configured to determine presence of an individual in vicinity of the electronic light emitting display panel and to cause the switch to switch from displaying the conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel to displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel, in response to determining presence of the individual.

A method of normalizing a usage of an electronic light emitting display panel, the method comprising:

• calculating the usage of the electronic light emitting while a first video is being displayed on the electronic light emitting display panel;
• sensing presence of an individual in vicinity of the electronic light emitting display panel;
• and
• switching, in response to the sensing presence, from displaying a conditioning video on the electronic light emitting display panel to displaying the first video on the electronic light emitting display panel, the conditioning video being generated based on the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel for normalizing the usage of the electronic light emitting display panel.
