Abstract
The present invention is an electrophotographic photoconductor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate. The photosensitive layer contains terephthalate esters additives.
Claims7
An electrophotographic photoconductor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, said photosensitive layer comprising a layer containing a charge transport material and an additive of the formula:
- wherein R is alkyl (R—), alkoxy (RO—), aryl (Ar—), aryloxy (ArO—), alkylcarboxylate (RCO2—), acrylate (CH2═CHCO2—), methacrylate (CH2═C(CH3)CO2—), benzoate (PhCO2—) or substituted benzoate (XPhCO2—).
An electrophotographic element comprising:
- an electrically conductive support;
- a charge-generation layer sensitive to visible or infrared radiation;
- and
- a charge-transport layer containing a charge-transport material, and
- an additive having the formula:
- wherein R is alkyl (R—), alkoxy (RO—), aryl (Ar—), aryloxy (ArO—), alkylcarboxylate (RCO2—), acrylate (CH2═CHCO2—), methacrylate (CH2═C(CH3)CO2—), benzoate (PhCO2—) or substituted benzoate (XPhCO2—).
An electrophotographic photoconductor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, said photosensitive layer comprising a layer containing a charge transport material and an additive of the formula:
