Abstract
An image forming apparatus forms an image during conveyance of a medium. The image forming apparatus includes a conveying unit for conveying a medium, and a reverse voltage applying unit for applying to the medium a voltage with polarity opposite to a voltage applied to the medium when the conveying unit conveys the medium. An image processing apparatus includes a conveying unit for conveying an original document; a reading unit for reading an image on the original document during conveyance of the document; and a reverse voltage applying unit for applying to the medium a voltage with polarity opposite to a voltage applied to the medium when the conveying unit conveys the medium.
Claims5
An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a medium, comprising:
- a conveying unit for conveying the medium;
- and
- a reverse voltage applying unit for applying a first voltage to the medium, said first voltage having polarity opposite to a second voltage charged on the medium while the conveying unit conveys the medium.
An image processing apparatus, comprising:
- a conveying unit for conveying a original document;
- a reading unit for reading an image on the original document;
- and
- a reverse voltage applying unit for applying a first voltage to the original document, said first voltage having polarity opposite to a second voltage charged on the original document while the conveying unit conveys the original document.
