Image forming apparatus, maintenance management method thereof and image forming management system

A maintenance management method of an image forming apparatus, comprising:

• forming an image based on image information on a prescribed surface of a transfer material and a mark image for image position identification at a prescribed position on the transfer material;
• detecting a position of the mark image formed on the transfer material to obtain position information;
• storing the position information obtained;
• processing the position information stored statistically;
• and
• presenting a maintenance time of the image forming apparatus based on the statistical processing.

An image forming system, comprising:

• an information processing apparatus;
• an image forming apparatus for communication processing with the information processing device via a communication device, including,
• an image forming device to form an image based on the image information on a prescribed surface of a transfer material as well as to form a mark image for image position identification at a prescribed position of the transfer material,
• a detecting device to detect a position of the mark image formed on the transfer material by the image forming device and to output position information,
• a memory device to memorize the position information detected by the detecting device, and
• a control device to transfer the position information read from the memory device to the image processing apparatus;
• wherein the information processing apparatus receives the position information from the image forming apparatus and executes statistical processing.
