Abstract
The present invention discloses a clamp of the type comprising a flat strip (1) whose ends coil onto themselves in the shape of a ring and are fastened by means of a retaining pawl (2) and a hook (3) that are coupled in a retaining bridge (6) and an orifice (7), respectively, for a further constriction of the clamp, that is brought to its optimal tightening position by means of pliers or other appropriate tools through tightening and deformation of the clamp bridge (12), which bridge is provided with a deformation (15) that imparts said bridge greater inertial resistance and that in such tightening and advance movement of one end underneath the other an engagement has been provided for both ends by means of a tongue (14) located at one end and a recess (13) at the other end of the strip.

DISMOUNTABLE CLAMP of the type that coils onto itself forming a ring and its ends are fixed or fastened prior to the constriction of the clamp that leads said clamp to its optimal tightening position by means of pliers or any suitable wrench, for instance by tightening and deforming a bridge having some means or shaping for providing greater inertial resistance to said bridge, and that in said tightening movement and advance of one end underneath the other engagement means for both ends have been provided so as to create a stepless inner surface, like for instance through a tongue and a recess at the opposite end of the strip lodging said tongue, said fastening means comprising hooks located at one end of the strip surface and orifices at the other end, into which said hooks are inserted, said hooks being obtained through cutting by stamping of the strip surface,
- characterized in that
- the hook surface is perpendicular to the strip surface and the larger side of said hook is aligned in the longitudinal direction of said strip;
- said hook has a projection in said central and closing direction of the clamp, which hook defines a recess that permits fastening or coupling of the strip material when the clamp is being mounted against a closing edge of the orifice into which said hook is inserted;
- said orifice for inserting said hook is wide enough to allow some lateral slack of the hook during mounting of the clamp thanks to its being provided with an edge with inclined profile;
- a retaining pawl in the shape of a transverse butt end whose shape is approximately that of an inverted “V” facing the closing direction of the clamp, which retaining pawl is inserted into a retention bridge having approximately the shape of an inverted “V” that defines an inner longitudinal cavity located in the proximity of the other end of the strip, into which said retaining pawl is lodged.
