Method and system for providing feedback to a chairperson in an electronic meeting scheduling system in order to enable improved meeting resource management

An apparatus including a computer readable medium, said computer readable medium having stored thereon program code operable to cause a computer system to provide feedback to a chairperson user in an electronic meeting scheduling system, comprising:

• meeting invitation display logic for displaying a meeting invitation user interface within which invitees to a meeting are presented with multiple selectable attendance mode options;
• invitation acceptance collection logic for collecting indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting;
• and
• chairperson user interface display logic for displaying said indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by said invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting to a chairperson user.

A computer program product including a computer readable medium, said computer readable medium having stored thereon program code operable to cause a computer system to provide feedback to a chairperson user in an electronic meeting scheduling system, said program code comprising:

• program code for displaying a meeting invitation user interface within which invitees to a meeting are presented with multiple selectable attendance mode options;
• program code for collecting indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting;
• and
• program code for displaying said indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by said invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting to a chairperson user.

A computer data signal embodied in a carrier wave, said computer data signal having encoded thereon computer instructions which, when executed on a computer system, cause said computer system to provide feedback to a chairperson user in an electronic meeting scheduling system by:

• displaying a meeting invitation user interface through which invitees to a meeting are presented with multiple selectable attendance mode options;
• collecting indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting;
• and
• displaying said indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by said invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting to a chairperson user.

A system for providing feedback to a chairperson user in an electronic meeting scheduling system, comprising:

• means for displaying a meeting invitation user interface through which invitees to a meeting are presented with multiple selectable attendance mode options;
• means for collecting indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting;
• and
• means for displaying said indications of which of said selectable attendance mode options are selected by said invitees accepting their invitations to said meeting to a chairperson user.
