Claims24
A therapeutic method for treating traumatic neural injury in a mammal, comprising administering to a mammal in need of such therapy an effective amount of a neuroprotective compound, wherein the neuroprotective compound is a peroxovanadium compound, a peroxovandium derivative, or a compound with inhibitory activity of protein tyrosine phosphatases.
A therapeutic method for treating a degenerative disorder in a mammal, comprising administering to a mammal in need of such therapy an effective amount of a neuroprotective compound, wherein the neuroprotective compound is a peroxovanadium compound, a peroxovandium derivative, or a compound with inhibitory activity of protein tyrosine phosphatases.
A therapeutic method for pre-treating a mammal prior to surgery to prevent injury to nerves, comprising administering to a mammal in need of such therapy an effective amount of a neuroprotective compound, wherein the neuroprotective compound is a peroxovanadium compound, a peroxovandium derivative, or a compound with inhibitory activity of protein tyrosine phosphatases.
A therapeutic method for preventing damage to endothelial cells, comprising administering to a mammal in need of such therapy an effective amount of a neuroprotective compound, wherein the neuroprotective compound is a peroxovanadium compound, a peroxovandium derivative, or a compound with inhibitory activity of protein tyrosine phosphatases.
A therapeutic method for preventing damage to blood vessels, comprising administering to a mammal in need of such therapy an effective amount of a neuroprotective compound, wherein the neuroprotective compound is a peroxovanadium compound, a peroxovandium derivative, or a compound with inhibitory activity of protein tyrosine phosphatases.
