Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and methods suitable for delivering RNAi agents against genetic targets in stem cells so as to direct cell growth and differentiation.

A method for promoting cell growth and inhibiting differentiation in a subject or cell culture, said method comprising administering an RNAi agent to the subject or cell culture, wherein the RNAi agent delays, represses, or otherwise reduces the expression of one or more transcriptionally active genetic regions that are directly or indirectly associated with the differentiation and proliferation of stem cells.
A genetically modified cell comprising a ddRNAi expression cassette that expresses a ddRNAi agent that delays, represses, or otherwise reduces the expression of one or more transcriptionally active genetic regions that are directly or indirectly associated with the differentiation and proliferation of stem cells.
