An isolated antibody or antibody fragment that specifically binds a VEGF-2 polypeptide, said antibody comprising:
- i. a first amino acid sequence that is at least 95% identical to an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a. the amino acid sequence of the VH domain of the antibody expressed by the hybridoma cell line deposited under ATCC Deposit No. PTA-4095;
- and
- b. the amino acid sequence of the VH domain of the 69D09 ScFv shown in SEQ ID NO:79;
- and
- ii. a second amino acid sequence that is at least 95% identical to an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a. the amino acid sequence of the VL domain of the antibody expressed by the hybridoma cell line deposited under ATCC Deposit No. PTA-4095;
- and
- b. the amino acid sequence of the VL domain of the 69D09 ScFv shown in SEQ ID NO:79.
