Abstract
The invention relates to a method for the identification of atypical p-ANCA, kits suitable for the same and application of said method to the diagnosis of chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases and autoimmune liver diseases.

Method for identifying and/or quantifying atypical anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (atypical p-ANCA) in a sample comprising
- providing an isolated antigen for bonding with atypical p-ANCA, and
- identifying and/or quantifying atypical P-ANCA in said sample.
