Abstract
Fibrous structures and more particularly convolutedly wound rolls of fibrous structures having end edges including bond regions and methods for making such convolutedly wound rolls of fibrous structures are provided.
Claims18
A convolutedly wound roll of fibrous structure comprising an end edge, wherein the end edge comprises a bond region that comprises greater than about 25% of the total surface area of the end edge.
A convolutedly wound roll of fibrous structure comprising a plurality of sheets of fibrous structure that are separable from adjacent sheets, wherein at least one of the sheets comprises one or more edges comprising a bond region that extends inwardly from the edge less than 1 cm.
A method for making a convolutedly wound roll of fibrous structure, the method comprising the steps of:
- a. providing a convolutedly wound roll of fibrous structure comprising at least one end edge;
- and
- b. contacting the at least one end edge with a bonding agent to produce a bond region that comprises greater than about 25% of the total surface area of the end edge.
