Abstract
We describe a method for the detection of triacylglycerols (TAGs) in a biological sample.

A method for the analysis of a composition comprising triacylglycerol comprising the steps of:
- i) providing a preparation comprising triacylglycerol;
- ii) applying the preparation in (i) to a column wherein said column comprises a separation material of a lipophilic polymer;
- and
- iii) separating the triacylglycerol content of said preparation.
