Abstract
The present invention relates to 1-aza-bicycloalkyl derivatives of Formula (I) wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification and to processes for their production, their use as pharmaceuticals and to pharmaceutical compositions comprising them.

- wherein
- X represents hydrogen or hydroxyl and
- Y represents one of the following groups:
- in free base or acid addition salt form.

A process for preparation of a compound of formula (I) comprising the steps of
- i) reacting a compound of formula (IX)
- wherein Y represents one of the following groups:
- and z represents a leaving group with a compound of formula (X)
- where R represents H, C1-C4alkyl or both RO represent together with the B to which they are attached a heterocyclic moiety, X is hydrogen or hydroxyl, and
- ii) recovering the so obtained compound of formula (I).

A process for preparation of a compound of formula (I) comprising the steps of
- i) reacting a compound of formula (XI)
- with a compound of formula (XII)
- wherein
- X represents hydrogen or hydroxyl,
- Y represents one of the following groups:
- and PG is a suitable protecting group,
- ii) subsequent deprotection of the so obtained compound and
- iii) recovering the so obtained compound of formula (I) in free base or acid addition salt form.
