Abstract
Disclosed is an organic photoreceptor comprising on an electrically conductive support a light-sensitive layer and a surface layer, wherein the surface layer comprises a resin formed by curing a photocurable compound containing at least one polar group and at least one photocurable-functional group and a particulate metal oxide having a water absorption of 0.1 to 10%. There are also disclosed an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge.
Claims14
An organic photoreceptor comprising on an electrically conductive support a light-sensitive layer and a surface layer, wherein the surface layer comprises a resin formed by curing a compound having at least one polar group and at least one photocurable-functional group and a particulate metal oxide having a water absorption of 0.1 to 10%.
An image forming apparatus comprising a developing device to develop an electrostatic image formed on an organic photoreceptor to form a toner image, a means for transferring the toner image to a transfer paper and a cleaning device for removing a toner remaining on the organic photoreceptor, wherein the organic photoreceptor comprises on an electrically conductive support a light-sensitive layer and a surface layer, and the surface layer comprises a resin formed by curing a compound containing a polar group and a photocurable functional group and a particulate metal oxide having a water absorption of 0.1 to 10%.
A process cartridge, wherein an organic photoreceptor as claimed in claim which is integrated with at least one of a charger, an image exposure device, a development device and a cleaning device to form a cartridge and the cartridge is designed so as to be freely transferable into and from an image forming apparatus.
