Light emission device and display device using the light emission device as a light source

A display device comprising:

• a display panel for displaying an image;
• a light emission panel for emitting light toward the display panel, the light emission panel comprising at least two emissive regions spaced apart from each other and a non-emissive region between the emissive regions;
• and
• a light diffuser located between the display panel and the light emission panel, the light diffuser comprising at least two first diffusion parts corresponding to the emissive regions and a second diffusion part corresponding to the non-emissive region,
• wherein the second diffusion part has diffusion transmittance that is greater than diffusion transmittance of the first diffusion parts.
