Abstract
An optical recording medium includes a first substrate having a groove on the side of an outer peripheral portion thereof; a second substrate in contact with the first substrate in the outer peripheral portion; and a recording layer being disposed in a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate and forming a void in cooperation with the first substrate at the portion of the groove.
Claims19
An optical recording medium comprising:
- a first substrate having a groove on the side of an outer peripheral portion thereof;
- a second substrate in contact with the first substrate in the outer peripheral portion;
- and
- a space between the first substrate and the second substrate, the space comprising a recording layer and a void, the void in cooperation with the first substrate at the portion of the groove.
1 more element
An optical recording medium comprising:
- a first substrate being formed into a toroidal-shape and having grooves on the sides of an inner peripheral portion and an outer peripheral portion;
- a second substrate being in contact with the first substrate at the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion;
- and
- a recording layer being disposed in a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate, the gap further comprising a void in corporation with the first substrate at the portion of the groove.
1 more element
A method of manufacturing an optical recording medium comprising:
- filling a surface of a first substrate having a groove therein with a recording layer precursor solution;
- and
- bonding a second substrate with the first substrate in a vacuum atmosphere or a depressurized inert gas atmosphere to seal the recording layer precursor solution between the first substrate and second substrate.
