Abstract
A wear-proof zipper assembly has two engaging assemblies engaging respectively with each other. Each engaging assembly has a strip, multiple engaging elements, a binding thread and a core element. Each engaging element has an intermediate recess. The binding thread is mounted on the strip, is mounted in the intermediate recesses of the engaging elements and binds the engaging elements on the strip. The binding threads are hardly worn off so the wear-proof zipper assembly is durable.
Claims2
A wear-proof zipper assembly comprising:
- a first engaging assembly having
- a strip;
- multiple first engaging elements being annular, mounted on the strip at intervals and each first engaging element having a top edge and an annular inner edge and further having
- an outside end section having a top;
- an inside end section having a top;
- a through hole defined through the first engaging element;
- and
- an intermediate recess defined in the top edge of the first engaging element between the inside end section and the outside end section and has a bottom surface lower than the tops of the inside and outside end sections;
- a binding thread mounted on the strip, mounted on the bottom surfaces of the intermediate recesses of the first engaging elements, located below the tops of the outside and inside end sections and binding the first engaging elements on the strip;
- and
- a core element being longitudinal, mounted through the through holes in the first engaging elements and pressing against the annular inner edges of the first engaging elements;
- and
- a second engaging assembly selectively engaging with the first engaging assembly and having
- a strip;
- multiple second engaging elements being annular, mounted on the strip at intervals, selectively engaging respectively with the intervals between the first engaging elements, and each second engaging element having a top edge, an annular inner edge and further having
- an outside end section having a top;
- an inside end section having a top;
- a through hole defined through the second engaging element;
- and
- an intermediate recess defined in the top edge of the second engaging element between the inside end section and the outside end section of the second engaging element and having a bottom surface lower than the tops of the inside and outside end sections of the second engaging element;
- a binding thread mounted on the strip of the second engaging assembly, mounted on the bottom surfaces of the intermediate recesses of the second engaging elements, located below the tops of the outside and inside end sections of the second engaging elements and binding the second engaging elements on the strip;
- and
- a core element being longitudinal, mounted through the through holes in the second engaging elements and pressing against the annular inner edges of the second engaging elements.
