## Abstract

A luer-lock type cylindrical tip of a syringe has a luer tip of which a center portion is fitted with an injection needle and a luer-lock portion which is disposed outside the luer tip with a gap therebetween and which has a lock screw disposed therein. The lock screw is formed as a trapezoid screw having a root diameter set to the range of 8.0 mm±0.1 mm, an inner diameter set to the range greater than or equal to 6.6 mm and smaller than 6.8 mm, and a pitch set to the range greater than 2.5 mm and smaller than or equal to 2.8 mm. Accordingly, it is possible to reliably prevent the injection needle from being loosened or pulled out in the handling process. It is also possible to easily replace the syringe needle with another one having different size at the time of use.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A luer-lock type cylindrical tip of a syringe connecting to a distal end of a cylinder of the syringe, comprising:
a cylindrical-shaped luer tip of which a center portion is fitted with a needle base of an injection needle; and
a cylindrical-shaped luer-lock portion which is disposed outside the luer tip with a gap therebetween and which has a lock screw formed therein,
wherein the lock screw is formed as a trapezoid screw having a root diameter set to the range of 8.0 mm±0.1 mm, an inner diameter set to the range greater than or equal to 6.6 mm and smaller than 6.8 mm, and a pitch set to the range greater than 2.5 mm and smaller than or equal to 2.8 mm.

### Claim 2

A luer-lock type cylindrical tip of a syringe connecting to a distal end of a cylinder of the syringe, comprising:
a cylindrical-shaped luer tip of which a center portion is fitted with a needle base of an injection needle; and
a cylindrical-shaped luer-lock portion which is disposed outside the luer tip with a gap therebetween and which has a lock screw formed therein,
wherein the lock screw is formed as a trapezoid screw having a root diameter set to a range of 8.0 mm±0.1 mm, a bottom thickness of a thread set to a range greater than 1.0 mm and smaller than or equal to 1.4 mm, a top thickness of the thread set to a range of 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm, and a pitch set to a range greater than 2.5 mm and smaller than or equal to 2.8 mm.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The luer-lock type cylindrical tip according to claim 1, wherein the lock screw has a bottom thickness of a thread set to a range greater than 1.0 mm and smaller than or equal to 1.4 mm and a top thickness of the thread set to a range of 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The luer-lock type cylindrical tip according to claim 3, wherein the lock screw has a front inclination angle of the thread set to a range greater than 30° and smaller than or equal to 50° and a rear inclination angle of the thread set to a range of 25° to 50°.
