## Abstract

Warming personal lubricant compositions, condom products including such compositions and methods of making such condom products are disclosed. The present warming lubricant compositions include at least about 50% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol component, preferably including at least two portions of different molecular weights, and an effective amount of a viscosity inducing component.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A lubricant composition comprising:
a first polyalkylene glycol component portion having a first molecular weight; and
a second polyalkylene glycol component portion having a second molecular weight reduced relative to the first molecular weight;
an effective amount of a viscosity inducing component other than a cellulosic derivative, the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions together comprising at least about 50% by weight of the composition, the composition being substantially clear and substantially anhydrous, and being effective to generate heat when placed in contact with water; and
an effective amount of a preservative component.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1 wherein the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions are polyethylene glycol component portions.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1 wherein the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions together comprise at least about 80% by weight of the composition.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The lubricant composition of claim 1 wherein the first polyalkylene glycol component portion has a molecular weight in a range of about 350 to about 450 and the second polyalkylene glycol component portion has a molecular weight in a range of about 150 to about 250.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1 wherein the viscosity inducing component comprises a polyvinylpyrrolidone component comprising a first polyvinylpyrrolidone component portion and a second polyvinylpyrrolidone component portion having a different molecular weight than the first portion.

### Claim 6

A lubricant composition comprising:
a first polyalkylene glycol component portion having a first molecular weight; and
a second polyalkylene glycol component portion having a second molecular weight reduced relative to the first molecular weight;
an effective amount of a viscosity inducing component other than a cellulosic derivative, the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions together comprising at least about 50% by weight of the composition, the composition being substantially clear and substantially anhydrous, and being effective to generate heat when placed in contact with water; and
an effective amount of a component selected from the group consisting of sweetening agents, flavoring agents, fragrances, plant extracts and mixtures thereof.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The composition of claim 6 having a viscosity in a range of about 50 cps to less than 10,000 cps at 25° C.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The composition of claim 6 wherein the weight ratio of the first polyalkylene component portion to the second polyalkylene component portion is less than about 7.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The lubricant composition of claim 6 wherein the first polyalkylene glycol component portion has a molecular weight in a range of about 350 to about 450 and the second polyalkylene glycol component portion has a molecular weight in a range of about 150 to about 250.

### Claim 10 (depends on 6)

The composition of claim 6 wherein the viscosity inducing component comprises a polyvinylpyrrolidone component comprising a first polyvinylpyrrolidone component portion and a second polyvinylpyrrolidone component portion having a different molecular weight than the first portion.

### Claim 11

A lubricant composition comprising:
a first polyalkylene glycol component portion having a first molecular weight; and
a second polyalkylene glycol component portion having a second molecular weight reduced relative to the first molecular weight;
an effective amount of a viscosity inducing component other than a cellulosic derivative, the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions together comprising at least about 50% by weight of the composition, the composition being substantially clear and substantially anhydrous, and being effective to generate heat when placed in contact with water; and
an effective amount of a component selected from the group consisting of biomembrane treating agents, anesthetics, vasodilators, analgesics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents and mixtures thereof.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The composition of claim 11 having a viscosity in a range of about 50 cps to less than 10,000 cps at 25° C.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The composition of claim 11 wherein the first and second polyalkylene glycol component portions are polyethylene glycol component portions.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The composition of claim 11 wherein the weight ratio of the first polyalkylene component portion to the second polyalkylene component portion is less than about 7.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)
