Abstract
A copy-protected optical recording medium, a method for driving thereof and a method for manufacturing thereof, wherein the optical recording medium includes at least one region whose address is designated to be said same with that of other region of the medium.
Claims1
A copy-protected optical recording medium capable of being reproduced by a general reproducing apparatus, comprising:
- at least one overlapping zone, address values allocated to data recorded thereon overlapping with address values of another area of said recording medium;
- and
- driving information recorded on said recording medium for controlling said reproducing apparatus to read data recorded on said at least one overlapping zone.
