System and method for displaying dynamic page content in a page-caching browser

A computer program product, comprising:

• a computer-readable memory device;
• computer-readable program code segments, stored on the computer-readable memory device, for:
• receiving, from a client computer, a request for content of a first web page, the request including a first address, the request also including a request for transmission of a second web page;
• and
• in response to receiving the request for content:
• transmitting a message redirecting the client computer to the second web page, the message including a second address with a unique identifier.

A computer program product, comprising:

• a computer-readable memory device;
• computer-readable program code segments, stored on the computer-readable memory device, for:
• transmitting, to a server, a request for content of a first web page, the request including a first address, the request also including a request for transmission of a second web page;
• and
• receiving, from the server, a redirection message including an address for the second web page and including a unique identifier.
