Abstract
A method of contacting a physician to electronically communicate with the physician includes storing electronic data identifying a plurality of physicians and/or their designees and contacting instructions associated with each identified physician, enabling a user to select one of the identified physicians to contact and in response to the user's selection, transmitting an electronic communication from the user terminal over a communication channel in accordance with the contacting instructions associated with the selected physician.

A method of contacting a physician to electronically communicate with the physician, the method comprising:
- storing electronic data identifying a plurality of physicians and contacting instructions associated with each identified physician;
- enabling a user to select one of the identified physicians to contact;
- and
- in response to the user's selection, transmitting an electronic communication from the user terminal over a communication channel in accordance with the contacting instructions associated with the selected physician.
A method of contacting a physician and communicating data to the physician, the method comprising:
- storing electronic data identifying a plurality of physicians and contacting instructions associated with each identified physician;
- enabling each identified physician to customize at least some of the individualized contacting instructions that correspond to them;
- enabling a user to select one of the identified physicians to contact, wherein applicability of at least one of the selected physician's contacting instructions depends on a condition precedent;
- electronically reviewing characteristics associated with the communication to determine whether the condition precedent is satisfied;
- and
- transmitting an electronic communication from the user terminal over a communication channel in accordance with applicable contacting instructions associated with the selected physician.
