Abstract
The invention provides novel B7-H3 and B7-H4 polypeptides useful for co-stimulating T cells, isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding them, vectors containing the nucleic acid molecules, and cells containing the vectors. Also included are methods of making and using these co-stimulatory polypeptides.
Claims7
-11. (canceled)
An isolated co-stimulatory polypeptide encoded by a DNA comprising:
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence that encodes a polypeptide with the ability to co-stimulate a T cell, wherein the nucleic acid sequence hybridizes, after a wash at 50° C. to 65° C. in a buffer containing 0.2×SSC and 0.1% SDS, to the complement of the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:6;
- or
- (b) the complement of the nucleic acid sequence.
-18. (canceled)
A fusion protein comprising a first domain joined to at least one additional domain, wherein the first domain comprises a polypeptide encoded by a DNA comprising:
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence that encodes a polypeptide with the ability to co-stimulate a T cell, wherein the nucleic acid sequence hybridizes, after a wash at 50° C. to 65° C. in a buffer containing 0.2×SSC and 0.1% SDS, to the complement of the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:6;
- or
- (b) the complement of the nucleic acid sequence.
