Abstract
An image analysis method for analyzing the motion of an object by using the time-series image data. The method comprises inputting time-series image data, generating time-series object image data by extracting an object region from the time-series image data, and analyzing the motion of the object from the time-series object image data.

- An image analysis method comprising:
- inputting time-series image data;
- generating time-series object image data by extracting object regions from the time-series image data, wherein the object regions are extracted such that differences between frames of the time-series image data are computed, regions of large differences are digitized as rough outlines, and the rough outlines are automatically corrected to generate the object regions;
- computing a position of a center of gravity in each of the object regions;
- synthesizing an additional line indicative of the position of the center of gravity with the object image data;
- and
- analyzing motion of an object from the time-series object image data.

- The method according to claim 21, wherein the analyzing includes:
- adjusting a first time-series object image data and a second time-series object image data by performing deforming processing on at least one of the first time-series object image data and the second time-series object image data;
- and
- superposing and synthesizing the first time-series object image data and the second time-series object image data after the deforming processing.
