Signal processing device and method of processing signal

A method of setting parameters in a signal processing device that subjects an input signal to signal processing using one set of parameters, the signal processing device including:

• a parameter memory that stores therein a plurality of sets of prepared parameters;
• and a first control knob that can be moved over a predetermined operating range, each of the plurality of sets of prepared parameters being respectively assigned to each of the plurality of predetermined positions defined in the predetermined operating range, the method comprising:
• reading out two sets of prepared parameters, assigned to two positions adjacent to a current operating position of the first control knob, from the parameter memory;
• and
• interpolating the two sets of prepared parameters in accordance with the current operating position of the first control knob to obtain one set of interpolated parameters,
• wherein the input signal is subjected to the signal processing using the one set of interpolated parameters.

A computer program product embodied on a computer-readable storage medium, the computer program product causing a signal processing device to execute a method of setting parameters, the signal processing device subjecting an input signal to signal processing using one set of parameters, the signal processing device including:

• a parameter memory that stores therein a plurality of sets of prepared parameters;
• and a first control knob that can be moved over a predetermined operating range, each of the plurality of sets of prepared parameters being respectively assigned to each of the plurality of predetermined positions defined in the predetermined operating range, the computer program product causing the signal processing device to execute:
• reading out two sets of prepared parameters, assigned to two positions adjacent to a current operating position of the first control knob, from the parameter memory;
• and
• interpolating the two sets of prepared parameters in accordance with the current operating position of the first control knob to obtain one set of interpolated parameters,
• wherein the input signal is subjected to the signal processing using the one set of interpolated parameters.
