Abstract
A system includes an input node, a frequency translatable impedance (FTI) filter, and a radio frequency (RF) downconverter module. The input receives an input signal having first and second components. The FTI filter filters the second components. The RF downconverter module receives the first components and downconverts the first components. Both the FTI filter and the RF downconverter module communicate with the input node.
Claims77
A system comprising:
- an input node that receives an input signal having first and second components;
- a frequency translatable impedance (FTI) filter that filters said second components;
- and
- a radio frequency (RF) downconverter module that receives said first components and that downconverts said first components,
- wherein both said FTI filter and said RF downconverter module communicate with said input node.

A method comprising:
- receiving an input signal having first and second components via an input node;
- filtering said second components using a frequency translatable impedance (FTI) filter;
- connecting both of said FTI filter and a radio frequency (RF) downconverter module to said input node;
- receiving said first components from said input node at said downconverter module;
- and
- downconverting said first components using said RF downconverter module.
