Abstract
Electronic equipment of the present invention having a display panel includes a protection plate that is opposed to an opposite surface of a display surface of the display panel and is substantially parallel to the opposite surface of the display surface of the display panel. According to this configuration, when a pressure is applied to the display panel from outside, the display panel can be suppressed from being deformed, whereby the strength of the display panel with respective to an external pressure can be enhanced.

Electronic equipment having a display panel, comprising a protection plate that is opposed to an opposite surface of a display surface of the display panel and is substantially parallel to the opposite surface of the display surface of the display panel.
An image pickup apparatus having an image pickup portion and a display panel, comprising a protection plate that is placed between the image pickup portion and the display panel, that is opposed to the opposite surface of the display surface of the display panel, and that is substantially parallel to the opposite surface of the display surface of the display panel.
