Abstract
A portable information processing apparatus including a main body which includes a display opening and a front panel surface surrounding the display opening, a display to display an image through the display opening, and a key button input unit including one or more horizontal key groups including a plurality of key buttons arranged in an outwardly direction from the display opening in a portion of the front panel surface; and a reference line to connect and extend across top end portions of referenced key buttons in the one or more horizontal key groups extending in the outwardly direction from the display opening, wherein at least a portion of the reference line forms an angle with respect to a plane including a viewing surface of the display unit.
Claims32
A portable information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a main body which comprises a display opening and a front panel surface surrounding the display opening;
- a display unit to display an image through the display opening;
- a key button input unit which comprises one or more horizontal key groups including a plurality of key buttons arranged in an outwardly direction from the display opening in a portion of the front panel surface;
- and
- a reference line to connect and extend across top end portions of referenced key buttons in the one or more horizontal key groups;
- wherein at least a portion of the reference line forms an angle with respect to a plane including a viewing surface of the display unit.
A portable information process apparatus, comprising:
- a main body which comprises a display opening and a front panel surface surrounding the display opening;
- a display unit to display an image through the display opening;
- and
- a key button input unit which comprises a plurality of horizontal key groups including a plurality of key buttons arranged in an outwardly direction from the display opening in a portion of the front panel surface, the plurality of horizontal key groups being arranged in a direction along an edge side of the display opening;
- and
- a reference line to connect and extend across top end portions of referenced key buttons of one or more of the plurality of horizontal key groups arranged along the edge side of the display opening;
- wherein at least a portion of the reference line forms an angle with respect to a plane including a viewing surface of the display unit.
A portable information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a front panel surface including a left panel surface, a right panel surface, an upper portion and a lower portion;
- and
- a display unit having a viewing surface to display an image, the display unit disposed proximate to the front panel surface;
- wherein each of the left panel surface having a first set of key buttons and the right panel surface having a second set of key buttons form an angle with respect to a plane including the viewing surface of the display unit.
A portable information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a front panel surface including a left panel surface, a right panel surface, an upper portion and a lower portion;
- a display unit having a viewing surface to display an image, the display unit being disposed proximate to the front panel surface;
- and
- at least one set of key buttons disposed in the front panel surface, each of the set of key buttons having top end portions arranged in at least a first direction such that a distance between two or more of the top end portions of each of the set of key buttons arranged in at least the first direction and a plane including the viewing surface of the display unit are not equal to each other.
A portable information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a front panel surface including a left panel surface, a right panel surface, an upper portion and a lower portion;
- a display unit having a viewing surface to display an image, the display unit being disposed proximate to the front panel surface;
- a first set of key buttons disposed in the left panel surface, each of the first set of key buttons having top end portions arranged in at least a first direction;
- and
- a second set of key buttons disposed in the right panel surface, each of the second set of key buttons having top end portions arranged in at least a second direction;
- wherein a distance between two or more of the top end portions of each of the first set of key buttons arranged in at least the first direction and a plane including the viewing surface of the display unit are not equal to each other.
A portable information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a front panel surface including a left panel surface, a right panel surface, an upper portion and a lower portion;
- a display unit having a viewing surface to display an image, the display unit disposed proximate to the front panel surface;
- and
- a set of key groups including a plurality of keys disposed at each of left and right sides of the display unit, top portions of each set of the keys being arranged to form a sloping surface with respect to the viewing surface of the display unit.
