A corrosion sensor having a corrodible element that is corrodible in a lubricant or hydraulic oil, wherein the corrosion sensor is adapted to monitor degradation of the lubricant or hydraulic oil is disclosed.

A corrosion sensor comprising a corrodible element that is corrodible in a lubricant, wherein the corrosion sensor is adapted to monitor degradation of the lubricant.
A corrosion sensor system comprising (a) a corrosion sensor comprising a corrodible element, wherein the corrosion sensor senses acidity of a lubricant, and (b) an electronic module connected to the corrosion sensor stores and monitors sensed data to allow for analysis of corrosion of the corrodible element.
