A barrier rib composition comprising, a ceramic material, a binder, a solvent, and an additive including at least two of a selenium oxide, a vanadium oxide, a molybdenum oxide, and a cerium oxide.
A plasma display panel (PDP), comprising:
- a first substrate facing a second substrate;
- a plurality of address and display electrodes between the first and second substrates;
- a plurality of barrier ribs between the first substrate and the second substrate to define a plurality of discharge cells, the plurality of barrier ribs including a selenium oxide additive;
- and
- photoluminescent material in the discharge cells.
