Ratchet-action drive mechanism for human power

a human powered lever drive arrangement comprising:

• a. at least one lever of sufficient length and shape to accommodate a one way clutch with an
• b. independent mechanical return mechanism attached to said lever and
• c. said one way clutch with mechanical linkage of said one way clutch to
• d. a rotational primary drive arrangement shaft
• e. positioned behind the rider's position with mechanical linkage of said primary drive arrangement shaft to
• f. a secondary drive arrangement with a mechanical linkage to
• g. a tertiary drive arrangement driving
• h. a rotating final drive element
• whereby force is applied to said lever's end opposite said one way clutch, linear movement of said lever produces torque converted to rotational speed to a rotating final drive element through secondary and tertiary drive arrangements.
