A threshold system, comprising:
- a threshold;

- a flashing removably connected to the threshold.
A method of supporting a threshold, comprising the steps of:
- removably connecting a flashing to a threshold;
- and
- securing the position of the flashing relative to the threshold.
A method of installing a threshold system for a modular door assembly, comprising the steps of:
- installing a threshold into a modular door assembly;
- installing the modular door assembly into a doorway;
- and
- removably connecting a flashing to the threshold.
