Abstract
Dashboards and widgets are tailored for use with a variety of devices having different capabilities. In some implementations, a device includes a touch-sensitive display and a processor operatively coupled to the display. The processor is operable for generating a dashboard environment including at least one widget, and for presenting the widget on the display in response to touch input, wherein the widget presents information derived from a geographic location of the device.

A location-aware device, comprising:
- a display;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the display, the processor operable for presenting a dashboard or widget on the display.
A method, comprising:
- configuring a dashboard or one or more widgets to operate on a location-aware device;
- and
- presenting the dashboard or one or more widgets on the device.
A device, comprising:
- a touch-sensitive display;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the display, the processor operable for generating a dashboard environment including at least one widget, and for presenting the widget on the display in response to touch input, wherein the widget presents information derived from a geographic location of the device.
A computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform operations, comprising:
- configuring a dashboard or one or more widgets to operate on a location-aware device;
- and
- presenting the dashboard or one or more widgets on the device.
A system, comprising:
- means for configuring a dashboard or one or more widgets to operate on a location-aware device;
- and
- means for presenting the dashboard or one or more widgets on the device.
