Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing pertinent multimedia content to mobile subscribers based on dynamically created profiles. Users are provided information relevant to their interests based on dynamic profiles developed as a result of prior patterns of use, interest and behavior. Such profile generation is automated without need for active user participation in selecting what would be desirable information.
Claims20
A network system for content delivery, said network system comprising:
- a plurality of servers;
- a profiling engine to compile and store a plurality of profiles for a mobile subscriber in real time;
- and
- a unit programmed to deliver information to the mobile subscriber;
- said information being related to the plurality of profiles.
A network system for providing content to a mobile subscriber, said network system comprising:
- a plurality of Application Servers that communicate with each other via SIP and are capable of reporting usage statistics for a mobile subscriber;
- a profiling engine that receives the usage statistics and compiles them into a profile for the mobile subscriber;
- and
- a network unit that is capable of associating the profile with content in the Application Servers and transmitting said content to the mobile subscriber.
A method for improving content delivery to mobile subscribers, comprising the steps of:
- providing a mobile subscriber with a plurality of interactive applications hosted by a plurality of application servers;
- compiling a profile based on the mobile subscriber's interactions with the plurality of interactive applications;
- associating the profile with related multimedia content;
- and
- providing the mobile subscriber with an option to download or otherwise gain access to said multimedia content.
