Abstract
Novel β10 polypeptides and heterodimers thereof, and nucleic acid molecules encoding the same are disclosed. The invention also provides vectors, host cells, selective binding agents, and methods for producing β10 polypeptides and heterodimeric forms thereof, specifically α2/β10. Also provided for are methods for the treatment, diagnosis, amelioration, or prevention of diseases with β10 polypeptides and α2/β10 heterodimers or their respective binding agents.
Claims7
An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3, further comprising an amino-terminal methionine;
- (b) an amino acid sequence that is at least 95 percent identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3;
- (c) a fragment of the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3 comprising at least about 75 amino acid residues;
- (d) the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3 having at least one conservative amino acid substitution;
- (e) the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3 having at least one amino acid insertion;
- and
- (f) the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3 having at least one amino acid deletion.
