Abstract
Anti-fouling coating compositions and methods of making and using those compositions are provided. In an embodiment, a coating composition comprises ceramic nanoparticles, wherein the coating composition is capable of inhibiting contaminants from adhering to a solid surface.

A coating composition comprising:
- ceramic nanoparticles, wherein the coating composition is capable of inhibiting contaminants from adhering to a solid surface.
A method of coating a solid surface, comprising:
- contacting the solid surface with a coating composition comprising ceramic nanoparticles to prevent contaminants from adhering to the solid surface.
A method of making a coating composition, comprising:
- combining ceramic nanoparticles with a polymer additive.
