Abstract
Methods for treating bladder cancer comprising intravesicular administration of a stabilized pharmaceutical formulation comprising 5-(1-aziridinyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(E)-3-hydroxyprop-1-enyl]-1-methyl-1H-indole-4,7-dione (EO9). More specifically, the stabilized pharmaceutical formulation is instilled in the bladder for a time sufficient to treat the cancer.
Claims15
A method for treating bladder cancer comprising administering via intravesical administration to the bladder a stabilized pharmaceutical formulation comprising 5-(1-aziridinyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(E)-3-hydroxyprop-1-enyl]-1-methyl-1H-indole-4,7-dione (EO9) having a pH range from about 9 to about 9.5.
A method of treating bladder cancer comprising administering a stabilized pharmaceutical formulation comprising a therapeutically effective dose of EO9 in an aqueous solution having a pH from about 9 to about 9.5 and further comprising sodium bicarbonate, disodium edentate, propylene glycol, or combinations thereof;
- wherein the formula is instilled into the bladder for a time sufficient to treat the bladder cancer.
