Wheel Bearing Arrangement Comprising an Encoder

A wheel bearing arrangement in which an encoder is arranged in a radial annular space between an inner part and an outer part, the wheel bearing arrangement having the features:

• the encoder is rotationally movable with the outer part about the rotationally fixed inner part,
• the encoder is directed axially toward a sensor, wherein the sensor is arranged behind a rotationally fixed protective plate, considered from the encoder,
• the annular space is at least partially covered in an axial direction by means of the protective plate which is fixed to the inner part.
