Method for Establishing a Voip Communication Using a Peer-to-Peer Databank

A method for operating a communication network, comprising:

• sharing a databank by a plurality of nodes, the plurality of nodes including a first node and a second node;
• initiating a communication by the first node with a communication partner of an external communication system;
• and
• querying the databank by the first node in order to establish the communication, the query for identification information for addressing of the first node by the communication partner.

A method for operating a communication network, comprising:

• providing a databank shared by a plurality of nodes, the plurality of nodes including a first node and a second node;
• notifying the second node, in the case of an establishment of communication with a first node initiated by a communication partner of an external communication system, about the establishment;
• and
• establishing the communication between the second node and the communication partner.

A node for a communication network, comprising:

• means for participating in a storage of a databank stored in a shared manner among a plurality of nodes of the communication network;
• means for initiating an establishment of communication with a communication partner of an external communication system;
• and
• means for querying the databank for identification information for an identification and/or addressing of the node by the communication partner and for using the identification information during the establishment of communication.
