Abstract
A light source device includes a light emitting section having at least one light emitting element for emitting a laser beam perpendicularly to an emission surface in laser oscillation, an external resonator for selectively returning light with a specific wavelength to the light emitting element, thereby causing the laser oscillation of the light emitting element with the specific wavelength, a base plate to which the light emitting section and the external resonator are fixed, and an optical element disposed and fixed on a light path of the laser beam between the light emitting element and the external resonator and distantly from the surface of the light emitting element, and for changing a proceeding direction of the laser beam.
Claims14
A light source device comprising:
- a light emitting section having at least one light emitting element for emitting a laser beam perpendicularly to an emission surface in laser oscillation;
- an external resonator for selectively returning light with a specific wavelength to the light emitting element, thereby causing the laser oscillation of the light emitting element with the specific wavelength;
- a base plate to which the light emitting section and the external resonator are fixed;
- and
- an optical element disposed and fixed on a light path of the laser beam between the light emitting element and the external resonator and distantly from the surface of the light emitting element, and for changing a proceeding direction of the laser beam.
