An insulating part for installation into a hole of a toroidal core, the insulating part comprising:
- a separating device for separating winding spaces on the toroidal core;
- wherein the separating device comprises:
- a divider;
- and
- a spacer on an end of the divider;
- wherein the spacer comprises a spreading part, and wherein a width of the divider is less than the width of the spacer when the spreading part is spread.
