Abstract
An apparatus for controlling an electric equipment is provided. The apparatus includes an input unit for generating a digital control signal carried on a power line to be transmitted to a power socket according to an operation of a user. The power socket receives the digital control signal through the power line, and determines whether or not to provide a power source to the electric equipment according to the digital control signal.

An apparatus for controlling a lamp source, comprising:
- an input unit, generating a digital control signal according to an operation of a user;
- a lamp socket, for connecting a lamp source;
- and
- a power line, receiving a power source, and connecting the input unit and the lamp socket;
- wherein the lamp socket receives the digital control signal through the power line, and determines whether or not to provide the power source to the lamp source according to the digital control signal.

- a power socket, for connecting the electric equipment;
