Information Handling System Including Battery Assembly Having Multiple Separable Subassemblies

A method of shipping and assembling a battery assembly for a battery powered device comprising:

• providing a plurality of battery subassemblies that are operable to be mechanically and electrically connected together to form a battery assembly, wherein the battery subassemblies are designed to be shipped such that an additional shipping fee that would be incurred due to a watt-hour rating of the battery assembly is not incurred;
• shipping a first battery subassembly and a second battery subassembly such that the additional shipping fee that would be incurred due to the watt-hour rating of the battery assembly is not incurred;
• connecting the first battery subassembly to the second battery subassembly to form the battery assembly;
• and
• coupling the battery assembly to a battery powered device to supply power thereto.

A method of shipping and assembling a battery assembly for a battery powered device comprising:

• providing a plurality of battery subassemblies that are operable to be mechanically and electrically connected together to form a battery assembly, wherein the battery subassemblies are designed to be shipped such that an additional shipping fee that would be incurred due to a chemical mass in the battery assembly is not incurred;
• shipping a first battery subassembly and a second battery subassembly such that the additional shipping fee that would be incurred due to the chemical mass in the battery assembly is not incurred;
• connecting the first battery subassembly to the second battery subassembly to form the battery assembly;
• and
• coupling the battery assembly to a battery powered device to supply power thereto.
