Abstract
A backpack assembly includes a luggage case having a first attachment interface and a backpack having a second attachment interface. The second attachment interface is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case. The luggage case further includes a flap with a third attachment interface that is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface if the backpack is detached from the luggage case.
Claims21
A luggage case comprising:
- a first attachment interface, wherein the first attachment interface is configured to be mated with a second attachment interface of a backpack to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case;
- and
- a flap having a third attachment interface that is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface if the backpack is detached from the luggage case.
A backpack assembly comprising:
- a luggage case having a first zipper half coupled to a front face of the luggage case, a pair of zipper slides coupled to the first zipper half, a plurality of wheels coupled to a bottom portion of the luggage case, and an extendable handle coupled to a top portion of the luggage case;
- and
- a backpack having a second zipper half, wherein the second zipper half is configured to be mated with the first zipper half to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case, the luggage case further including a pouch, a pocket, and a flap with a third zipper half that is configured to be mated with the first zipper half if the backpack is detached from the luggage case, the flap having a fixed end coupled to an interior of the pouch and a free end that is extendable from the pouch, the flap to cover the pocket if the third zipper half is mated with the first zipper half.
A method of converting a multi-pack configuration into a single-pack configuration comprising:
- decoupling a first attachment interface of a first pack from a second attachment interface of a second pack, wherein the first attachment interface is coupled to a front face of the first pack;
- opening a storage pouch of the first pack;
- extending a free end of a first conversion flap from the pouch, wherein the free end of the first conversion flap includes a third attachment interface;
- and coupling the third attachment interface to the first attachment interface.
