Abstract
An invertible decorative tree having sections that are each provided with complementary receiving and associating mechanisms. The sections include a stand, a trunk segment, at least one tree body and a tree top. Through the complementary relationships of the receiving and associating mechanisms, the tree can be arranged to provide a triangular appearance with its apex at the top or its apex near the bottom. In order to provide for this inversion, the tree top must be equipped to connect with the trunk segment or with a tree body segment.
Claims14
A decorative invertible generally triangular tree comprising:
- a) a stand assembly;
- b) a trunk segment comprising a first end, a second end, and means to associate;
- c) a first tree body assembly comprising means to receive and means to associate;
- d) a tree top section comprising first means to receive and second means to receive;
- e) said stand assembly comprising means to receive said first end of the trunk segment;
- f) said means to receive of said first tree body assembly complementarily constructed to receive said means to associate of said trunk segment;
- g) said first means to receive of said tree top section complementarily constructed to receive said means to associate of said first tree body assembly;
- and
- h) said second means to receive of said tree top section complementarily constructed to receive said means to associate of said trunk segment to allow inversion of said tree top section and said tree body assembly.
A decorative invertible generally triangular tree comprising:
- a) a tree top section comprising first means to receive and second means to receive;
- b) a tree body assembly comprising means to receive and means to associate;
- c) a trunk segment comprising means to associate;
- d) said first means to receive on said tree top section, said second means to receive on said tree top section and said means to receive on said tree body assembly capable of receiving said means to associate of said trunk segment and said means to associate of said tree body assembly;
- e) said tree having an upright arrangement comprising a lower most point adjacent said trunk segment and an upper most point adjacent said tree top section and an inverted arrangement comprising said lower most point adjacent said tree top section and said uppermost point adjacent said tree body assembly.
A decorative invertible generally triangular tree comprising:
- a) an uppermost point and a lowermost point;
- b) a stand assembly,
- c) a trunk segment associated with said stand and including means to associate,
- d) a tree body assembly including means to associate,
- e) a tree top section wherein said tree top section comprises a first and a second means to receive each of complementary construction with said means to associate of said trunk segment and said means to associate of said tree body for the purpose of allowing the tree top section to be positioned either near said uppermost point for an upright arrangement or near said lowermost point for an inverted arrangement.
